Josh was born and raise in upstate NY. He received his first camera as a birthday gift at 5 years old, and regrets not saving his first photographs. Early on, he was taught by his father, Lou, who has been a photographer for over 40 years. Josh study various forms of art throughout his education, culminating in earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2003. During College, he concentrated in Photography and Neon Sculpture. Since graduating, he has been employed as an Audiovisual Systems Engineer, and explored many interests, including various volunteer opportunities in the community. In 2017, he began to focus more heavily on his photography interests. Nearly all the work featured on this site is a result of this new dedication to his work as a photographer.
